Hey doll.....why would I stress about that? When I was a young lad, that was important, yet when I grew to be a man, it was no longer about who liked me, in it's stead, that became more about who I was as a man, and by self awareness, who I chose to associate myself with.....men whom I felt emulated a certain ideal. Only then, cemented in the trials of life, does one find who backs them up in the trench.

All 3 of them, even thought every time I visit them at their place in the park, they are sitting in the same position, never moving. Even when pigeons land on them and relieve themselves, they never shoosh them away or complain. I always wondered why they are always dressed the same each time.

Sometimes you wonder if there is a thing called real friends..... however I have been privileged to have associated a few who I can say are real friends cos they are the ones who are there for you when the chip are really down with nothing to benefit from it....
Casual friends can be found everywhere... however REAL FRIENDS are few and far... but those few are the ones that deserve to be cherished forever cos they make your life worth living.
A word of advice to all treat your friends the way you would like them to treat you and you will find that they too will be there for you unreservedly...

If you think you have any real friends your are living in a fantasy world. When push comes to shove people look out for themselves and could not give a rats ass about you, unless of course it was going to benefit them in some way

And is it any wonder why no one would WANT to be bothered with a such killjoy?

Like I said, my friends are not many in number, but those I grace with that title actually deserve it.

Sure I've been screwed over in the past; but who hasnt?

But instead of letting it embitter me into a brittle, lonely bitch, I learned from my mistakes and figured out how to make better choices.

Too bad that doesn't seem to be the case for some people...

You do get what you put in. Being able to count on someone means you must be able to be counted on. I wonder what he has done for his friends to warrant their sacrifice? Or lack therof.

In real life yes. On a social network NO. But you do get to recognise who the fair and nice ones are. And I have to say I have only had a couple of poor experiences. Also sometimes I write before I think and don't ever want to offend anyone. Mahalo
