I don't have any "stuff." I carve a pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern & that's fun.
Germans don't really appreciate Halloween the way we do, though some clubs use it as an excuse to have a costume party.
It was always my favorite holiday at home though... & one of the things I do miss.

our office decorates early; so I already have a few things out. I don't decorate at home though.

this week i started to drag out the halloween stuff... it's my FAVORITE holiday/time of year.
i have 4 large carving ready pumpkins on my porch and a few decorations out... i like to put it out in stages over a 2 week period. should be ready by October 1st or so!!!

Yay! for you!!

I love Halloween & miss it a lot.

When I was a kid, the neighbors used to give out caramel apples, brownies & homebaked cookies... those were the days! Then the first big scare over some idiot putting a razor blade in a Girl Scout cookie & the whole idea of unwrapped goodies went straight down the wastepipe.

yeah, that really changed things... i miss the popcorn balls and all the homemade goodies but candy is still a winner!!! (and yeah, i still trick or treat - with or without my kids)

For now it is all in the attic. We do not bring it down until usually the first week of October at the earliest.

actually i know exaxctly where it is...prep will start the day before.....the decorating ON trick or treat as my sound system plays Old Time radio Horror and sounds....come trick or treat the mysterious Mr. K..The Halloween DJ fires up for the neighborhood

Sounds fun!

One of my neighbors (as a kid) used to do a haunted house. He was so creepy anyway that it was always a blast to go over & see what he'd come up with every year. He'd get such a kick outa scaring the bujaysus out of us, it just tickled him to the point he'd buckle over laughing.

Fun times.
