My parents, my cousins, my grandparents, basically everyone I know. And if they do, I don't notice, at all.

My husband and I don't wear them and haven't for a long time. Finally sold them when I was unemployed for some time. We got married young and sort of just didn't like the style. They were gold and found later we preferred white gold. Always thought we'd get a new set on our 25th anniversary (married 22 years).

When I got a job in another state, he decided he didn't want to come with two weeks before I left . . . Que Sera Sera

A friend of mine and his wife neither wear their rings anymore. Of course, he is trying to divorce her, but she refuses to sign the papers, thus forcing him to stay married to her.
Also, my mum doesn't wear hers, because it's too big for her now, after she lost a lot of weight. I don't know if she knows she could have it resized at the jeweller's.

wow she should a shame of herself, to keep him married to her, knowing he wants nothing to do with her.. If your mom still wants to wear the ring, maybe you should get it resized for her, as a gift.. My parents don't wear theirs either..

    Sort of.
A buddy of mine from work and his wife had wedding bands tattooed onto their ring fingers, since it was cheaper than actual rings. Probably not the best idea. But so far there still together after 4 1/2 years.

Sometimes we wear ours, sometimes we don't. My husband never wears his at work because of his occupation. I don't wear mine sometimes, since I have arthritis in my hands and also sometimes depending on what I have my hand into. It's no big deal to either of us. We've been married 30 years. It's about the marriage, not the jewelry.
