No. I've changed my views a lot since I posted this. I do not and will not kill anything, except plants of course because I HAVE to eat. When I see a bug in my house I usually capture it and take it outside
No, they're still living things. I capture then release outside
If there's an infestation where disease could be spread or other harm could come to myself or my household, then it's survival of the fittest (or at least non-survival of the unluckier or least resourceful of myself and the bugs -- and it isn't going to be the bugs), but under normal, everyday circumstances where a bug or a spider is discovered inside where it ought not be, we gently get them into a container and then let them go outside.
Yes, they are gross and dont bring any positives to society
Recently my friend opened his car boot (trunk) and I saw a little spider. I took my shoe off and went to squash it and he was like "Woah don't kill it what has it done to you?" He wouldn't take it out either because he said it wouldn't last long in a town centre on road or path and said 'let it live there for a few hours ill release it on some grass near home later"
I'm a Buddhist with respect to bugs, not a Jain.
I will kill them when they enter the house, but I usually leave them alone outside.
