I might say that someone's clothes are ugly, but I would never (for example) stop hanging out with him/her only because I don't like the way he/she dresses.

And I'm really honest to that question, because I am a Goth and I hate it more than everything when I'm being judged only from my appearance!

misclick... i suppose the person has been on the road for a few days and hasn't had the opportunity to sort themselves out i guess...

If someone is wearing skinny jeans with an iPhone and they have a Y Chromosome... well then they are a douche.

Yeah, I'll be honest, I'm shallow and I do judge people by the way they look and dress, even though i don't look that good myself, I guess most people are like that, it's in our nature, or why guys always want to be with pretty girls while girls want to be with hot guys?

I try to be conscious of reserving judgement and giving people benefit of doubt in general. But of course naturally, I can't help what my initial reaction will be to seeing someone with pink mohawk, pincushion face, covered head to toe in tattoos, wearing weird clothes. I may at first think 'attention seeking', but then will try to stop myself from being overly judgemental, because who am I to tell some one how to dress? It's none of my business and I really don't care

Like most people, I form an opinion about people based on how they're dressed but I don't judge them b/c of it. For example, if someone's got all black clothes and lots of mascara on I'll tend to assume they're to some extent into the goth scene. But I don't then decide this means they are good or bad as a person.

Most of us do judge others by what they wear, even if it is subconsciously and we are unaware of it.
An experiment was done where they had a chap unwashed, unshaven, wearing torn jeans and generally looking like a bum. He stood at a traffic light and, when there was a gap in the traffic he would cross against the light. He did this for an hour.
Next day he did it again, but this time he was immaculate. Clean, shaven, hair clean and combed, wearing a suit and with shiny shoes.
There were more than three times as many people who followed him when he crossed the road when he was well dressed than there were when he was shabby.

I always try to get to know a person no matter what misconceptions I have about them. However, most the time when a girl dresses like a slut you can assume she wants attention. It doesn't make me treat her differently, it just makes me not want to tell her she dresses nice. That's about the only assumption I ever think.

If I see someone who is in baggy / trashy / filthy clothes then I have to make myself stop and think about maybe they can't afford new clothes, or they just don't care what they look like... etc. But you can only observe people if you don't know them. You can discern and criticize when you know them well enough to make a call on their behavior or the way they dress, and then it might be acceptable. But you never want to judge someone without knowing their story.

your choices here are bias to chose from.

I think people who wear a suit and tie are those connected to the world in everyway, while people who dress in modest clothing show more meekness, yet those who dress in what most call rags are more likely people who can not afford tidier clothes to show their meekenss among humans.

remember the fashion of the world is only for the people of the world

Have to admit, that's my first-impression judgment. I withhold final judgment on anybody until I can talk with them and see their personality, their viewpoints, etc. The way people dress usually gives you a correct first impression but there are a lot of exceptions. So I don't judge the book by its cover anymore. Would have missed out on a lot of really good friends had I done so, turns out.
