It was never very neat and years of using a word processor means I have got out of practice. Just has two weeks of exams, handwriting for two hours at a time. Punishing!!
Yes I do, I had to endure penmanship classes as a kid. Today they no longer teach script... these kids will not only be able to write, but how the hell are they going to read handwritten articles????
It's totally legible and all, but it is not neat. Nobody expects it to. Our school offers speed writing courses. I mean, if we have to write seven pages for a history essay in forty five minutes (no, that is not an exaggeration) the examiners don't expect us to write neatly.
Anyone can have neat handwriting if they are paying attention. Most of us are too disinterested or don't have the time to deal with the neatness. We just want to scribble something down real fast. However, some people's penmanship looks like they barely got out of 2nd grade. Weird..
NO, I hate my handwriting. I've worked on it since 5th grade and it still doesn't look very good. It's legible, but not pretty by any means. I hate it so much that I even ask people with better handwriting than myself to address envelopes for me.
(and difficult to read)
it got worse as I started piling on the decades of careers ..
