I was forced to write in cursive all through out elementary so when I got to middle school and up my letters started getting all connected and squished when I was just writing in print...and my mom told me I write like a guy so yeah I think it sucks...

Not really - I have pretty severe arthritis in my hands so I avoid things like writing which are painful.

I've been writing in cursive since I was in second grade but when I looked back in some of my old journals it was horrible,it's gotten a lot better since then

I do have neat writing and some of my friends tell me that I have nice neat writing but It's not neat over the holidays because I don't really pick up a pen over the holidays!

Practice until you can write clearly. But learn to touch type. Personally, the only thing I every hand write these days is the payee on a check. And that is very rare. However, I work in Information Technology and am an author. I don't think the age of penmanship is quite dead yet, though is was a much lower priority even by the time I went to school than it was in earlier eras.

When I write fast I do, but I do really good calligraphy and when I concentrate on it, my penmanship is beautiful.
