I've recently seen a lot of polls asking about if sodahead should ban kids or make an adult sodahead where only 18 and up can go and It's quite scaring me since I am only thirteen years old I feel like they are only paying attention to the irresponsible young kids who are doing and saying dumb things that just happen to be the ones who get the spotlight.

Do you think that I should leave because I am thirteen or that there should be a ban on kids being here?

What do you think? You made the poll. There is a lot of adult stuff on here but its not up to us to decide for others. Maybe you should let your mom look at the site and answer the question for you.

As long as you don't obsess over stupid things like the Jonas brothers, or Miley Cyrus, and you only answer questions appropriate for your age, I won't have a problem. ^-^

Sometimes adults comment not knowing the age of a person. The comment of course being directed to an adult. There are strange people on SH and although you could be a mature 13 year old, you may not be equipped to handle some of the content contained on this site. I would not want my 13 year old on this site. No offense intended!
A solution could be to have the picture labeled with your age if you are under 18, so we know that we are advising or commenting back to a minor. It would not change my comment on many polls, but on some it would.
Also - Jonas Bros, Disney and Miley should be off this site and under 18 should not visit the sexual content sites.

Age is never an issue with me. It's just a number afterall. Some thirteen year old are a lot more intelligent than people like to give them credit for.

Personally I have no issue with kids being on Sodahead. I think in some cases its good to have some younger opinions out there. There are, unfortunately, some weirdos out there who takes things too far. So its not you being thirteen its them having no scruples.

I don't have a problem with kids who stay away from the polls about sex and don't ask adults to be their SH friends. It worries me when kids get involved in sex-related questions, and it worries me that there are pedophiles on the site. If my kid was 13 I would not let him anywhere near Sodahead.

I only think that there could be some kind of junior sh for all the disney stuff...I think to share these things there could be also more fun for the teens coz there nobody would dr them all the time....but nice normal behaving 13 years old are always welcome :)

You know! Thank you for asking my opinion about it! I personally am not bothered by sexual questions but at the same time I don't take part in them either because I know that it's not appropriate for a kid my age to be talking about sex with adults that I don't even know. And also foul language doesn't bother me either.
and my parents are both very trusting of me and I think rightly so.
I don't want to get in any kind of trouble! I just want to express myself freely!

Thank you! Another person asking my opinion about it! I'll tell you the same thing I told the other person.
I don't really care when they have adult content questions but at the same time I don't take part in them either because I know it's not appropriate for someone my age to talk to adults that I don't even know about sex and things of that sort.
And foul language... I honestly don't care at all.

Yes but I think it depends on the kid I think like a year or two ago I wouldn't have wanted to be on here because I was bothered by adult content stuff but I've matured heck of a lot in a couple of years and I am not bothered by it and I don't take part in those type of adult content polls either it's just not appropriate for me to do.

Nope and I am long past 13. :) I don't think younger people should be banned at all. But I think it would be good if in addition to what is now available they have a site soley for their interests and polls they make.

Ya know, I was all for the age segregation thing...but after seeing that ramen predator on here, I think it's good that adults are around to see these things. If it was seperated, it might have gone unchecked.

I don't mind the younger kids, they just need to understand the "group" feature I think. Instead of flooding the common area with Miley and Jonas Brothers polls, they need to do it in a group where they're surrounded by others who WANT to answer that junk.

There are a lot of kids who can be jerks on here, but there are a lot of adults like that too, haha. You come across very intelligent and sensible, I probably wouldn't have even realized you were 13. Just keep a cool head and keep your grammar in check...everything should be fine. :o)

I have to agree with you on the ramen predator. We would not have jumped on that if the under 18's weren't on here. If they had their own site, they would need adult monitors.

Yeah, that whole situation made me rethink the separation. And if we did that, the adults would have to lie about their age to get into the younger group area and it would make it harder to know how old they really are.

Well I voted no obviously because it's me that made this poll but I think the adults need to understand that just because some kids are dumb doesn't mean that all of us have to suffer.
I love this website and it would suck very much if I was banned from it!
I think the adults also need to stop bullying the young kids who aren't really hurting anyone by asking questions about silly kiddy shows and things! It's just mean to them!
