suposed to be a year but due to court issues about a year and a half so far and now i just need to finish dui skool got 2 months left of that as soon as i can afford it :p

Sure do. Though, I live in NYC now and don't drive as often as I'd like to. Take mass transportation to and from work. Move my car on alternate side of the street parking days :o( .

I've had one since I was 16. Just got it renewed. I've held a license in this state for twenty four years and I still had to show my birth certificate, social security card, utility bill, vehicle registration, and marriage license.

I've known how to drive since I was 14. Makes me mad that the earliest I can have my license in this state is March 2013. Dumb laws.

I work in the Commercial Insurance Business. New Jersey is one of the most awful states I have to deal with. They fine for everything. It's to the point that I see New Jersey on new business and just groan. Well, March 2013 is just around the corner, so hopefully the time will fly by!

Our laws are the worst. You can get Ls at 16, have to have them for a year, then you get your P1s for one year, then P2s for a year. Takes you three years at best to have a full licence. If you lose any demerit points in those three years they can extend the time even longer.
