Do you hate it when someone criticizes your question?

I have had this happen to me and I just wonder why they are making such a big deal about it. There are many questions asked on here I think are unnecessary, silly or just plain dumb. I simply don't answer them.

No. Sometimes a question is just plain silly. Maybe the poster really thinks the question is sensible,-maybe not. If he/she knows it is dumb and just does it for a lark, they know it will be criticized and don't care. But if they post a really stupid question sincerely, I think it needs to be criticized as a favor to the poster. If you wish to learn how to do something the right way but practice it the wrong way, then you learn it the wrong way. To point out it is wrong (or silly) helps the person to learn the right way to do a thing.

I once knew a woman who was a very nice person but invariably used the word "Was" in a sentence where the word "were" should be,- like, " We was going to town," instead of "We were going to town." I felt embarrassed for her each time she did this so I told her. She had been completely unaware she was making a gaffe in her grammar. I believe it made her appreciate me more as a friend who really cared for her. MHOAISTI...

Not really. If they're being idiots responding to a question I post, then I make them pay dearly for it lol. It doesn't really matter in the long run as most of the people who try acting smart on a question I post generally ask even dumber questions than they claim mine are lol.

If they insult you, ask yourself if your question is biased. If your question is biased then you deserve a smack across the face to wake you up to the reality not everyone will give you an answer you are hoping to get.

Many leftwingers on this site ask biased questions and are actually shocked when rightwingers answer telling them they're wrong or disagreeing with them. They respond like smartasses and wonder why rightwingers then respond with attacks. Rightwingers do it also but it's moreso a problem with the left as many on the left like to talk down to rightwingers leaving themselves wide open when it turns out they're wrong which makes rightwingers look more intelligent and more correct... yet leftwingers wonder why rightwingers treat them the way they do.

One thing both sides are guilty of is attacking the other side then pleading the victim when they are retaliated against. I mean, ask if rightwingers are fascists and expect them not to be insulted? As a Centrist, when I see leftwingers poin...

One thing both sides are guilty of is attacking the other side then pleading the victim when they are retaliated against. I mean, ask if rightwingers are fascists and expect them not to be insulted? As a Centrist, when I see leftwingers pointing out that rightwingers are fascists, I tell them they are correct because Mussolini was a fascist and he did allow corporations to have too much power over him... but Hitler was a totalitarian who adopted fascism only briefly at the start of his career but that the Nazi's were a workers union, that Hitler killed or imprisoned any corporate leader who didn't do as this union ordered them to do and that everything from animal rights and healthcare to welfare and environmentalism almost word for word believed the exact same things as the left does today. The left forgets what they did in the past or how they allowed things like eugenics to lead to things like racial purification, white supremacy and inhuman medical experiments not just in Nazi Germany... but right here in the US as well into the 1970's.

Look it up. Their views on animal rights and the environment are identical word for word to what the left says today including their legislation backing those words up. Likewise, universal healthcare was something they created for the same stated reasons the left wants it now outlawing anything the government thought was bad for you from cigarettes to the food they were allowed to eat... they even mandated exercise, health food and adopted policies we today call "Progressive" pushing through idea before they were tested... the difference being that in a Totalitarian regime like Nazism was, maintaining control meant if it cost too much money or negatively affected your policies... you killed them and killed the people who created them.

True, Germany was mostly Conservative and the military was mostly rightwing... also true that the Brownshirts were almost completely leftwing including every leftwing group imaginable including gays, and the head Nazi's that survived the Night of Long Knives with Hitler remained leftwing and were Anti Fascist because Capitalism was weak and the wealthy elite could not be trusted unless the workers were represented by the government giving the Nazi workers party absolute control.

I say this to illustrate how people like to attack one another such as calling one another Fascists or comparing opposition leaders to Hitler. By comparison, Obama is more like Hitler because Obama heads the political party which represents all the causes the Nazi Party represented. Even things like the SEIU trying to move in and force other labor unions out of business represents Nazism rather than Fascism. By comparison, Mussolini had so little power over his corporations that he fought most of the war using World War I equipment and his soldiers often surrendered without a fight if they thought they couldn't win because Mussolini actually had very little power... by comparison, Nazi Germany killed corporate leaders who didn't do as told and soldiers who refused to do as ordered which is completely the opposite of Fascism. Likewise, Nazi Germanys belief in progress in all areas helped push them forward technologically whereas Mussolini couldn't get anyone in his country motivated with Progressive ideals and his country remained dominated by corporatism and regressive thinking religious zealotry... which side is accused of this in the US and which side embraces the ideal they are progressive thinkers in almost all areas?

If you really think about things from an intellectual point of view, it takes little effort to discover that the political left aligns with Nazism and the political right aligns with Fascism once you understand what those terms mean rather than just attacking one another with mindless insults. The only reason we even remember the Nazi's as Fascists is because Hitler experimented with the idea at the start and the ideal became identified with them when, in fact, they abandoned Fascism early on and their form of government became Totalitarianism.

If you ask questions which are biased... you will get nailed for it and if you are incapable of seeing the other sides point of view or even to criticize the side you choose to align with... then this is going to happen to you.

And if you don't act this way... you're likely to suffer the consequences of our "us vs them" culture where everyone else does think this way so you're either with us or them.

For all the talk about politics on this site, almost everyone on this site are people who don't give a damn about leadership ability as all they care about is beating the other side to keep them from imposing their views on "us". Is it any wonder then that almost none of our leaders have no leadership ability and nothing ever gets done in Washington DC? The reason is simple enough as in the past we had leaders who leadership ability and the people weren't sheep unwilling to attack those they have representing them. But over time, we began to elect more and more con men who exploited our divisions and prejudices until today we have nothing but con men in Washington DC with very few leaders who have any capability as leaders.

The more our country becomes divided... the more people like you will find yourself attacked and bullied by people I guarantee you are less informed and concerned about what's wrong in this country than you are much of the time.

Ask your questions... it's a free country and if people think your questions are stupid, then visit their profiles and check out their questions and answers to other questions as the worst offenders on this site for blindsiding you with meaningless unintelligent attacks are revealed if you just link up to their other answers and questions to reveal just how ignorant they are to shame them in the eyes of others on this site.

If it doesn't make sense or is incorrectly written and / or the spelling sucks, I really want to know about it. If it is just a 'sucky' question to start with, I'd like to know that as well. If you just don't like the question because it asks about something that you feel should be kept quiet because the responses might be contrary to the beliefs of you or someone that you approve of, too freakin' bad.
