Do you guys get those telemarketing calls?

They call me and I screw with them, ask the next woman or man for some really bizarre sexual act. When they complain tell them that they called you and if they don't like it don't call.

I am on the "Do not call list" and still get one or two a month. Each time it happens, I file a complaint....have no idea if the complaints are acted on or not but I have heard telemarketers are billed more than $1,000 for every complaint they cannot refute. .. and since I have never heard otherwise, I assume they do not attempt to refute my reports. ... of course, it could be that congress passed the law but cut funding for the enforcement...so I just don't hear.

But I know there is a record and so someday, those who placed the calls may get a single big bill that helps reduce the government deficit so I will do my part. You call me without my permission for marketing purposes, I think it is only fair you help reduce the national deficit or lose you phone use privileges:-)

I used to get a lot of their calls and however rude I tend to be every time they call, they just won't stop. It's always somebody trying to sell me stuffs like vacuum cleaners, dish washing pastes and even a home alarm system. Then after reading the Tom Mabe prank on the telemarketer, that gave me an idea and I guess pranks are not so bad after all. So I looked up some tips, found a lot from here http://www.callercenter.com/a... and applied them. And the first time I did, it was hilarious! Hahaha! It helped relieve me of stress and I surprisingly, I enjoyed it. And what's great about the whole thing was that, one by one, they stopped calling. Though there are still calls every now and then, it has significantly reduced. I guess pranks are more effective than the DNC.

I only have a cell phone and I don't get those annoying calls on my cell. I used to get them all the time when I had a land line at home.

I ask what state are they in. I start talking about political issues and give them web sites to look up. Agenda 21 Depopulation part II on You Tube and Fracking Hell: The untold story. I tell them speak up and get involved.

I even sign the do not call list. Either someone can't read, or they don't understand English.

They never call twice, one must tailor their response to each caller.

I really hate those calls !

But not as often any more, since I have said "can you hold for a moment?" Then hand the phone to my talkative 3 year old until they hang up. Or ask them to hold on, then put the phone down and continue cooking, setting the table, letting the dogs out, etc. I have no idea how long they actually stay on the line, but they are always gone when I finally come back. :oD

got 3 today finally answered phone like this; not interested put me on do not call list

I run my calls through my computer with a program that tells me where it comes from and who it is. It is an advanced "caller ID". If they have called before I answer with the name of my local police department's "Non emergency citizens assistance department please hold". They take my number out of their data base and I never hear from them again.

yeah all day and night, i say to most of them in English "sorry i dont speak English." and hang up. They still seem to call.

I really hate those calls! Gets on my nerves! I always get at least 3 time per week! Ahh!

I never answer any of the 800 numbers and if I hear "click, click" I hang up as that is a computer calling for a telemarketer. Basically if anything is so important, they can always leave a message

Call us sometimes on our cellphones but really not that often anymore.

But not as many as I use too on my land line that's why I cancel it.

My home number is a silent (unlisted) number, and it is also on a "do not call" register. But I occasionally get text messages telling me that I've won a million bux, all I need to do is send a couple of thousand bux to have the money released. What could go wrong? YEAH, RIGHT!!!
