I am an atheist... so other than weddings and funerals it is unlikely that you would ever see me in a church,

I go to 'Church' almost every Sunday they have services. In addition to a daily home religious practice, I also attend at least one other 'Church' related event every week. Sometimes, I travel great distances to 'church' events.

Oh! Lest I forget to tell you, my 'Church' is a Buddhist Temple,
part of the BCA, Buddhist Churches of America.

Only for weddings, baptisms and funerals, and then only if I can't escape the responsibility!

Most of the time, miss it if the kids are sick or something comes up. Don't like to miss that often.

No, but I am a Christian. Church tends to bother me if I go too much though. You'd be surprised how many Christians are bothered by church.

I haven't been to church in over 40 years. It no longer falls into my belief system.

No, I don't go to church every Sunday. I haven't been to church for a long time. While it's nice to go to church, I feel you can believe in your religion without going to church. I just remember how when I was younger that my mother made me go to Sunday school every week and it sorta turned me against it being forced to go every week.

    No. I'm not very religious. I'm what you'd call a non-practicing Christian.

It's just that sometimes I "go to church" without leaving home. (Matthew 18:20)

I don't go every sunday, but I go when I can. Sometimes due to certain things (like my mom getting shingles) I don't make it for a while.

I haven't been into 'organized religion' for many years. I carry my church in my heart and find peace in nature. ~ Mitakuye Oyasin ~ (we are all related)

That's the perfect way to look at it! :-) "Mitakuye Oyasin" is a Lakota phrase, isn't it? I only ask because they're my favorite Indigenous American tribe to study, along with the Hopi.

Thank you! I believe so. It is a way of life rather than a religion. Yes, this is Lakota but many other tribes strive for it as well. It has been said that when we realize true meaning of Mitakuye Oyasin we shall know Peace. I love this video of Hopi prophecy. I hope you will enjoy it too.

No... no I do not. I don't go to church at all. Ever. About the only thing that would get me into a church is one of my children getting married.

I use to but decided to do my church going later..........when I finally have an interest in finding my way to the church i won't need a compass. After all every human being is built with survival as their guide and procreation as their salvation.

I'd like to, but Quakers are a religious minority in the U.S. and especially in the southeast. I think the nearest Quaker meeting house to me is 20 or so miles away.
