Do you go out to bars or the club?

But only occasionally. To shoot pool mostly and visit some with friends at a neighborhood bar. A bit like the Cheers of TV lore.

I don't drink so what's the point. Went to one recently but only because a friend was having a b-day party.

I'm too young for clubs. But parties are good for now.

Nope, not anymore. Clubs were fun when I was younger and I honestly wouldn't mind going to one now, just for old times sake. Bars are my best friend and worst enemy. Right before I had my first kid I was an alcoholic and drug addict and I worked at one bar on the weekends and was at the bar and the one down the street every single night. I met lots of hot guys, had alot of drinks, and after awhile started making some enemies. I hadn't been drunk in 4 years, decided me and my kids dad could go out to the bar on Halloween, because I could control myself. Didn't work. I was carried in sloppy drunk and slept on the bathroom floor and scared my kids. So I just stay away now.

It's very rare, but have indulged to celebrate with friends

Not as much as I did but when I did I really had a riot. After a while it becomes more of the same.

Bars. No clubs around here. Bars cost too much money though and I always get so drunk that I either get punched or get kicked out.

My younger brother is at that age where he gets blind drunk with his military friends and I just worry he'd get hurt.

Yeah I understand that. I've done that for the last couple of years. I'm actually lucky I haven't been shot or stabbed with what I've said. I have that problem too, where I drink until there's nothing left of my personality or any shred of common sense. It's scary, and I'm glad I don't do it anymore. Tell him to be careful, especially if he's in the military. Tough guys at the bar will definitely target people in the military. "Oh you think you tough Army boy? Let's see what they taught you." I've seen it happen before. A Marine was killed in a bar fight around here, the person he was fighting pulled a gun on him. I hope your brother stays safe while he's out having fun.

Even when I was too young to get into them, I have never understood what the big deal was when it came to going to the bar to be repulsed by a bunch of chain smokers and alcoholics.

In addition, I happen to like my good hearing, so the ear splitting sound levels they like to play the music at combined with the other elements just "spelled" insanity to me.

If I'm in Rome, Italy, or Paris France, or Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, you will see me in a club from time to time, simply because they are way better than USA clubs. You can actually socialize in their clubs, people can handle their liquor in those locales, and the music they play doesn't suck

quit a long time ago. to many kids that can't handle their drinking.

I gave up clubs years ago. Bars have no appeal since I quit drinking.

Alot of my friends do but i have never found it to be for me. To much drama in places like that.

Places I used to go in the past. Now I have better things to do with my time and money.
