- elijahomar496 2012/07/21 17:29:53 (edited)Honk the hornOnly when they are either jeopardizing the safety of others on the road or may cause damage to my property while operating a vehicle. Never because I'm in a rush to get somewhere, and they happen to be driving too slow.reply
- Q 2012/07/20 20:04:51None of the aboveThe only time I'll honk my horn is to let someone know that the light has changed and I stopped flipping people off a long time ago. That's a young man's game before they mature, been there done that. When someone flips me off I usually just give em a friendly wave back and get a confused reaction, that or they'll just chuckle and settle down.reply

- Boo 2012/07/10 21:48:48Honk the horn+1When I'm behind someone who isn't paying attention (like asleep at the switch when the traffice light turns or on a cell phone or texting) I do blow my horn to try to bring them back to reality! I don't lay on the horn unless its a dangerous moving infraction, but usually just give a toot to wake them up.reply
- Bibliophilic 2012/07/10 19:18:02 (edited)Honk the horn+2I don't want to get rammed by a dumbass or get my own ass kicked. There are unstable people on the road everyday. I use the horn to let people know that they are too close, rude or driving haphazardly.reply

- DANNY59 2012/07/10 11:19:07Neither+3I have never flipped anyone off, driving or walking, and the only time I'll tap my horn is if the driver in front of me is obviously doing something else when the left turn arrow is green, and there looking at the floor of the back seat. I can't stand it when people lay on their horns, be patient, you'll get to your destination, maybe 1 or 2 seconds later.reply

- Mark Mercer 2012/07/10 05:01:59Neither+3A few years back, I was working at a place where the language got quite 'blue' frequently. The whole point of 'cursing' is to get attention for your exclamation. So, I started using "Goodness Gracious". Seemed to do the trick. I use that while driving...sometimes I smile...They either can't help it, don't know better, or may be trying to make me mad. either way...."why should I care".reply
