Wouldn't the best meal for a cat, instead of dry or wet food be actual prey? Shouldn't we feed cats live prey as some do with snakes and such?

    No, but I don't feed them dry kibbles with soy protein and waste products like beet pulp and apple pomace either. My cats only get quality wet food with 70% real meat and zero sugar. That's as close to real mice as it gets :) And they seem to like it better than the real deal, seeing that they rarely ever eat the mice and birds that they catch outside.
