Doesn't bother me. I 'survived' many incarnations as a shaman, and as a 19th Century sailor and a WWII Naval Aviator. I'm pretty sure we 'recycle' until we make a definitive decision regarding Jesus of Nazareth. Regardless, it is foolish to constantly think about death. It is but a moment. One of many. Why worry about it?

If you lean on Jesus, and He alone, there is nothing to fear. God has made promises, set His Law in stone and swore by Himself that none of the above will ever fail.

I look at the vast wasteland of my life, and wonder why He bothers, but even in this vessel He sees some value. We have all fallen short, and our only intercessor is the Lamb of God.

All else has failed me, all else has fled. He alone still stands.

I don't believe that, but it's nice that you do. I'd say that all life is suffering and pain and if we give up greed and stop desire than we can achieve happinness. I still don't think there would be an afterlife though.
