How do you know, if you don't have your own children? What will you do with all the time? Work & consume till they bury you? They, whoever they is, not your children at least. Doesn't that feel completely culture-, sense- and meaningless?

im not all that responsible, i dont think ill ever be, and, think of this..
why would i bring a living creature to this world to suffer with an irresponsible mother..

thanks for your reply. maybe you are to critical with yourself. if you say you're not responsible, than you are already senitized to that feature.

I'm kind of undecided. I like children, but I don't think I ever actually want one of my own. Maybe someday, i'm not sure.

I used to assume I would have them, but spending a year living with the girl of my dreams - who had a 5-year-old - convinced me that (even though it makes me sound heartless!) I just don't like kids!

I knew I wanted to have kids since I was a little girl. My ex husband and I tried for 5 years with no luck. I had a few brief relationships after that, and never got pregnant. By then I was positive I wouldn't be able to have kids. So I wasn't always careful. By the time I met my kids dad, kids were the last thing on my mind. But just months after we met...I got pregnant with my son. 2 years later...had a daughter. Almost 3 years later...had another son. So once I knew that I had no problem carrying children, I wondered why him ? The only answer is that we were always meant to bring these particular kids into the world. And the fact that I was never satisfied with my birth control pills and kept stopping them before having another kind ready to take.But they are amazing kids... I don't even want to know what my kids would be like if they had a different dad. And the day after my 3rd was born I got spayed ;)

Thanks :) My son always asks me "why do you say I saved you mommy ?" and I tell him because I wasn't going down the right path and having him made me change my habits. So I call him my little savior. :)

I guess I just can't deal with the whole painful idea of giving birth. Maybe if I get over my fear of that, i'll change my mind. Who knows.

I'm asexual, so I'm going to adopt kids. I want three, and if I can change their names or give them one myself, the first girl is going to be Hazel Alissa, the boy Noah Ty, and the second girl Sophina Marie.

I always assumed I would sire at least one, but it's getting kind of late.....

But from the age of 12 I knew I wanted my first kid by 25 and to be done at 30.

I'm done. I'm an "empty nester". I'm in grand child mode now. Now I get to turn my son's room into a microbrew.

When I am done with school and start my career!!! No need to rush anything!!!

I don't have anything against them but don't want the responsibility. Plus I am too old now anyway.

Oh I can't wait I always dreamed of being a mommy but I always thought if adopt. But I met the perfect guy for me and after we are married that will defiantly be in our future ^-^
