Unless, of course, one of two things is true:

1) Something is fun to look at. (Look for 'gay' in the dictionary if you have no clue what I mean)
2) Someone has just said "That's gay!" Even then, though, I always respond, "No, it's lesbian. Twice the women." Plus, it messes with people's minds.

I used to when I was younger in junior and high school. I did it because other kids said. I don't say it anymore. When I hear my nephews say it I correct them and explain how inappropriate it is to say that.

I find that term to be illogical. "Gay" in it's original meaning meant "happy". Now, it means "homosexual". Neither of those terms fits what people call "gay".

I never do, and I hate when people use that phrase. I hear it a lot at school and though it's not directed at me, it's still a bit offensive. Gay is NOT a synonym for stupid!

But I have tons of gay friends and it doesn't bother them,most gays have a great sense of humor...it's actually the breeders that say it's offensive. And yes rainbow colored metallic hot pants are very gay...it's all in the context. I don't use it to disparage a lifestyle but some people do
