But I still have a better opinion of someone who does than I do hearing someone speak the most tragic words ever uttered..."I hate reading".

Yes, and Velvet Jones is my favorite author...and my favorite line out of one of his books is, "As I stood at the entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel I felt a burning in my loins that I had never felt before. Thusly, I realized I had been kicked in the butt by love. I knew that the 1.98 I had spent on Richard's Wild Irish Rose would not go to waste" it's like Shakespeare or something.

I don't see the appeal. Instead of reading someone else's badly written fantasies they should live fuller lives.

I know people that read them and its okay. It keeps them happy and away from the streets. Better than getting drunk or hurting people. or playing videos!!!! Hopefully their vocabulary increases.

I think I'd get so bored and living a fake life I'd might jump right into the streets, Of course it's better than being self destructive I just cannot stand that kind of corny over the top writing. I'd never tell any adults how to live their life as long as they don't hurt anyone.

Haven't in many years but I have been known to indulge in the past. I am a voracious reader though and read it all, even cereal boxes with breakfast :D Nothing wrong with them in my opinion. Don't use them for a report in Uni but otherwise, what is the harm? It is just fluff. As long as you don't treat it as more than fluff, no big deal. :)

I attempted reading one but I couldn't really get into it. The story was slow and borring, and I personally just wanted to read the dirty parts haha. I'll probably read one eventually but I don't really them as of now.

I've read some, though I usually skimmed over most of the 'trashy' bits. It's sorta like watching a movie that isn't a porno but has sex scenes. It isn't always PWP, after all.

Yes. I prefer when the characters actually have a personality and are not merely vessels for having lots of really hot, kinky sex, but there are times when it's gratifying. I rarely read them, and... to be honest, I don't think I actually own any. But you can find a lot of the same online if you go to a fanfiction site and search for a PWP.

I've found authors who've done a brilliant job of developing their characters, and manage to make them have the hottest, kinkiest, craziest sex lives imaginable. I don't know how they do it, but they're amazing. To that end, I prefer those free fanfiction stories to spending good money on an actual book. I probably learned ten new vocabulary words from one of my favorite authors-- that's how good the story was.

So to that end... I suppose I do read trashy romance, but a lot of the time, I read what I like to call good romance (and the praepositio use of the word) cum kink.

My favorite Ozzy Osbourne album is "Diary Of A Madman," with Randy Rhoads playing lead guitar [before he so tragically died]. I also like "Black Rain" and "No More Tears." My favorites by Black Sabbath are "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Iron Man," "Dirty Women" and "Paranoid." Oh what the hell, I love it all!
