Charles Monroe "Charlie" Brown is the main protagonist in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. Charlie Brown and his creator have a common connection in that they are both the sons of barbers, but whereas Schulz's work is described as the "most shining example of the American success story", Charlie Brown is an example of "the great American un-success story" in that he fails in almost everything he does.

Do you ever feel like the world is a tuxedo and you are a pair of brown shoes?
Oh, and the reason the character Charlie Brown and his creator Charles Schulz have so much in common is because Schulz modeled the character after himself when he was a kid. Just a fun little fact.
Though sometimes I take a look at the news and say:
good grief
But mainly I'm pretty optimistic.
Oh bother!
my head isn't that round....
Plus I am a lot more optimistic.
