Yes, but usually when I am constipated. If you eat a can of raw kraut, it will UN-constipate you. It has to be raw, not cooked.

But Do only try this at home and stay close to a bathroom.

Baked over ribs. It takes a lot of the sour out of the kraut and adds tons of awesome flavor to the ribs.

Pork chops or suasages are tasty steamed in sauerkraut. It tenderizes less expensive cuts of meat too.
