I worked at a convenience store in a small town one summer break from college and they had a big jar of them. Every now and then I had to fish one out for someone. Yuck!!
Um I don't think they're chopping off pig's feet and leaving them to walk around on bleeding stumps >.> I think when they turn pigs into ham and bacon, the feet, head, etc are left over so they try to sell the feet separately.
I was just joking... badly.!! ;) I have never heard of pig's trotters being eaten, but Iam sure their are dishes all over the world that include them... It's just the thought of it, not for me.
