I love meat.
I got some free range chicken and grass fed cattle from a local farmer not to long ago. I think it's better to eat animals who don't live their whole lives in cages.
I do, and I think some meat is absolutely delicious. I'm not sure why some people try to make others feel bad for eating meat. Don't get me wrong, I like animals and I hate the way they are treated, but I don't think that means I can't enjoy the taste of meat.
Contrary to what seems to be 'popular' belief, I don't think that makes me any better or worse than anyone else who cares about the treatment of other animals.
There isn't anything funny about suffering and death though, so the same old 'jokes' about those who have chosen to abstain from eating meat do get tiresome.
I was a vegetarian from ages 8-19, for 11 years. At 19, I found myself curious about eating meat and tried chicken first. I do not go one day without a healthy serving. My favorite is Filet Mignon!
