Today is 12-12-12, the last major numerical date using the Gregorian or Christian calendar for almost another century. The next time three numbers will align as they did on 9-9-09, 10-10-10 and 11-11-11 will be on Jan. 1, 3001, or 1-1-1.

Many people who consider the number 12 lucky are rushing to get married, and even scheduling c-sections to have their babies delivered today. Do you consider 12-12-12 a lucky day?

    It might be just lucky for me. I just got fired Friday. I already have two applications for new Jobs in. I have to attend a class for one Monday & I have an appointment for another tomorrow at 2:30 pm. "I do feel LUCKY!" :-)

    It's cute, but I believe the Chinese considered 8/8/08 to be luckier. I know many people rushed to get married then. Most didn't realize that 8/26/08 could be considered just as lucky since 2+6=8.

    Really? All of this craze? And by the way, the next time this will happen is in January 1st 2101. Why don't people treat every '00 year special? It only happens every 100 years, and the date aligns ten times a century.

    the only really cool one would have been 11-11-1111 or heck if the human race can survive 11-11-11111.

    The rest are just.. ho hum.

    also 12-12-1212 would have be cool.. but 12/12/2012 is just ho hum..
