I've been dying my hair red for 3+ years, I recently died my hair purple, but once it fades I'll be dying it red again. My picture shows brown because I cut all my hair off and all that was left was my ridiculously long roots, haha.
I want to get blue/purple highlights but you have to bleach your hair to really let the colors stand out but.. my parents won't let me!!! :(
I have red highlights right now though.... and I've gotten dirty blond highlights before too....
All colors. Have not seen my natural hair color in years.... Currently it's an auburn dark brown with reddish highlights...basically it's like an ombre that wasn't done on purpose.
Odd thing is, it actually helps my hair to dye. I have a really really thick hair. So dyeing it never causes too much damage & thins it out. Plus my roots grow in white before it fades to whatever color my hair is dyed.
I have no need to color my hair. Despite my age, I have very little gray hair. Guys in my age group didn't color their unless they were gay. Nowadays, younger guys have no problems coloring their hair nor does society look unfavorably upon them for doing so. Life changes whether you like it or not.
It's kind of addicting. I've color it so many funky colors. It's currently a light pink faded from a bright red. I think I'm might keep it red for a while.
