Mine says I will not accept a friend invite if you "saw me on the leaderboard" yet half the requests are.

Yes I make a habit of doing that and also looking at their various postings. It tells me a great deal about what they think.

To me that is important because if you look at my profile page and you like nothing you see there, then you won't enjoy being my friend. Because MY PAGE DESCRIBES WHO I REALLY AM AND WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO ME

Always look and as long as they are not on level1 and come from Ghana, I will then add them, but if I have not spoke to them in six months, I usually delete them...no point in wanting to be friends but never talking.....

I take a 'many are called, few are chosen' approach to friending. I'll friend/accept friend requests from just about anybody over eighteen. After that I vet them by their words. Flame once; I defriend you. Make a professional asshat out of yourself (usually entailing three or more instances of ad hominem) and I block you.
