Nope. I've never blocked anyone, and I don't plan to. In my experience, most frequent blockers do so because they're either arrogant or too easily offended.
I don't block, period. If I run into something I find offensive, I'll just scroll past and move on. Sometimes I engage someone who has said something foul or whatever and have attempted to cool them down and clean up their language, etc., in an attempt to actually talk about whatever they were ranting over. And a lot of times it has worked to the point where we have agreed to disagree but leave each other having cracked a few jokes and lightened up the atmosphere. On rare occasions, I have actually managed to "convert" some of my detractors.
So, no, I don't block people. There is nothing that compels me to read something written here on SH. And if and when I begin to see the signs of nastiness coming out of a comment, I just stop reading and move to the next question. Heck, everybody's got a right to speak their mind and who am I to judge whether or not they're blocking material.
I have never blocked anyone- never will. Blocking is something a person does when they are losing the argument. I can handle anything that anyone says to me- I'm not afraid of anything someone might have to say.
Bet my stinker brother and bully sister would give your 5 siblings a run for their money! Oh, the things those two used to do to me to get me in trouble. Good golly, it's a wonder I ever made it out of puberty! (Fond memories now, though, God bless them.) :)
And isn't it funny how so many years ago we actually dreamed of all kinds of ways to hasten their demise? Or perhaps we "hated" our brother or sister? Or parents, for that matter. Yeah, time does put things into the proper perspective. And losing those precious people does an even better job, I assure you.
