There are over 100 BILLION stars in a galaxy and there are over 100 BILLION galaxies. There are universes inside universes. And I am ready for another universe...
There is no question that there are other places besides ours. There may be other dimensions as well. We are babies in an ancient world and we have learned little yet. Hold tight there is more to come and it will be amazing. I think that may be what is happening 12/21/12 we shall see if there is an awakening on that date.
Its easy to conjecture about our universe and other universes, however its based upon theory. The only guide to base our theory, what our eyes can see, the one proven universe we live in, and that we've just began to understand. Baseing much on theory. Stars and planets we can see. Other universes? Just another theory based upon another theory, based upon another theory......
New thoughts are coming out about where is all the dark matter to balance our universe. Read about the thoughts about another dimension. On Reddit this morning.
and eventually after they test all the theories they have the answer. We are a fly speck in this ancient ole universe..and we are babies in our knowledge. The only reason I would like to live forever is so I could see all the things that we learn in the next few generations.
You should have included a "not sure" option. I know there is no actual evidence that supports this theory but who is to say there weren't multiple big bangs? I have faith in this theory
Not yet I don't. The theories suggesting such things are immature and not yet fully able to deal with this universe. It's possible those other universes are really just part of this one that we cannot readily detect or explain. It is possible those other universes do not exist. They might just be figments of our mathematical limitations. Even the nature of this universe has some ambiguity. The concept of time has been linked to the fabric of this universe in such a way that asking what existed before the big bang is a nonsensical question, since time did not exist either. It's like asking what were you thinking five years before you were born. Modern physics needs more time to sort it out before there can be any tested theories regarding other universes.
Only answered "Yes" because there was no "It's possible" option. There really isn't enough evidence one way or the other and probably no way to ever test for this unfortunately.
Although I've seen other galaxies, in fact we have two passing through the Milkey way galaxy right now, I've never seen another universe. That doesn't mean they don't exist!
Although politically incorrect, he statement appears accurate. Although individuals are hurting, private enterprise overall does seem to be "doing fine."

"The President makes the correct reference that the private sector is doing just fine. They are at all an all-time high in profits. The Dow is up 50% since Jan 2009, the NASDAQ is up, the S&P is up. All is up except employment. So the President was correct. I think we can all agree on this because as you continue to note corporations (capitalists) don’t exist to employ people — just make money and they are doing just fine in that." - http://www.washingtonpost.com...
What makes you think I have a campaign slogan? Once again: "The President makes the correct reference that the private sector is doing just fine. They are at all an all-time high in profits. The Dow is up 50% since Jan 2009, the NASDAQ is up, the S&P is up. All is up except employment. So the President was correct."
