I'm not really sure but I believe that we go on after death and so do animals, trees, grass, flowers and all living things. All things have a life force. I don't know what it is but it's there. I'm sure of it. And when that life force leaves its receptacle, it goes somewhere else. Maybe to another human just being born, maybe to a newly planted tree. I don't know but I know that this life force is not destroyed.

My big opposition of it is: There were less than 2 billion people 2 millennia ago today there are over 7 billion, where are the new souls coming from?

To some degree I do, but I cannot be for sure because i haven't died. The ancient greeks believed in it for some ppl, buddists believe in it.

...but of all of the ideas about an afterlife, this is the one I find the most plausible.

I don't see how that could possibly work. Since who you are is just a collection of electric signals in your brain. When that brain dies the personality goes with it. Since the personality is an accumulation of experiences, thoughts, conclusions and memories stored within the one brain, it cannot be transferred to some other brain. Or at least not in any way I can imagine.

Hallo!Your next world following your brain is the survivor not just a tragic end of any accident, question is how it opens the series of accidents following death in order to restore no more death again this is embodied in gene, climate& epidemiology.Thank you.

I firmly believe that the soul migrates from one life to another. Buddhists believe so,and even believe one reincarnated into other species.

I had been told I would probably never get pregnant. I would pray to my PePe to intervene if he could (oh, I prayed to God too). Well I did get pregnant! He talked early and when he was 15 months and we tried to get him to call my father PePe he would laugh! Then when he was 2 1/2 my grandmother(who did not know of my belief) said to me" you know it is not that he looks like your grandfather but sometimes he does things that remind me of him"! Many years later a friend who was quite troubled died in a car accident. I cried and thought "there has to be something to this reincarnation thing, especially for people who die and have not yet finished what they set out to do". This book, Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss was sitting in the nurses station. I picked up an read a bit of it. It was brought in by one of the students. A big no no, and her instructor would have had a fit regarding the nature of this book. It is about a psychiatrist who when treating a woman he has had trouble finding a cure for suggest during hypnosis that she go back to a time when her symptoms 1st began. She went to a ancient life time.... She began to heal. At any rate I went out and bought the book and had to make myself put it down or I would have finished it that night. If you are in doubt read this book.

    many lives many masters
