Do you believe a dead person has haunted you?

haunting is not a good term, one spent a good year accompling me

My aunt who died off lung cancer(smoked since she was a teenager) and got ME to quit smoking!
And at least one time when I was visiting a friend in is house in the country side!

Not me ... but I think it could happen...

but if it happened I would probably freak out. Lol

Not that I'm aware of but I did hang around in a very desolate and haunted place few years ago a called "Campo Santos" in L.A Ca, a place known for drugs,gangs, ansd prostitution but the name was given do to the fact that there was a lot of witch crafting and "Santeria" done or performed in that place, I would find glass jars with wax and hairs,scorpions and pics partially burned inside them. pretty creepy we the "Zombies" that hung around there witnessed quite few of those rituals and other deadly sins....LOL))) it was Crazy to see or even know about it

But now the place has been turned into a big Tech High School and I bet that school is haunted.

Nah. I don't think I've ever been haunted. Some weird things have happened to me that I can't explain though. :)

But if they happen, the agents responsible are not "ghosts" of the dead, but demons--thoroughly inhuman creatures.

I believe the only ghosts are ghosts of the mind.

I guess two people who saw the same ghost have the same kind of mind ghost?

I was just asking lol. The reason I ask is because I have just recently started hunting for phenomenon and have run into a little evidence of their existence. When you wrote that it just interested me and I was curious as to why you thought that. Is it like someone saying "OMG I SEE MIST!!" then someone else makes themselves see it then scares themselves silly or something else? I get the problem with the hoaxes that's why I stopped listening to ghost stories and am trying to find them myself. I don't trust other people's findings when it comes to things like this.

I used to sleep on the third floor in the gable. The house was very old and the floors were wood. The roof over my head made me walk very carefully because there were cut nails protruding every where. Many times I was awakened to see the floor boards moving as if someone was walking. They would also creek very loudly. I never slept on those nights. You could say it was the wind swaying the house. The if that was true, why did the steps go to the east and stop then go to the west?

To say I don't believe in it is not completely accurate. I'll just say I'm skeptical and I haven't seen it in 57 years. When I was little my grandmother told me if I ever saw a ghost all I had to do was "pray it away."

I have yet to see a ghost. My father, a scientific thinker, told me that he was visited several times by his deceased grandmother when he was ill.

yea theres a lil kid ghost that haunts my back porch he looks like hes looking for something i tried to talk to him once he just disappeared in front of my eyes i screamed and ran away i wish i could help him

The guy who lived in our former apartment before us, passed away from cancer. His name was Scotty and he was a really nice man. (Forgot to mention...I knew him before he died. Didn't learn all that after he passed.)
Anyway, the first time something happened, I was sitting in the living room and my sons car started going around the table. That was kind of freaky. Then, every so often our microwave timer would set and it would start running. When our one dog was just a puppy, she would stand in the hall and look up...like she was looking at someone. Then she'd stand on her hind legs and dance around like someone was playing with her. A couple of times, he'd play with her late at night and I'd say, "Scotty. Not now! You'll wake the kids." and the pup would act like she was being told to lay down.

I've been haunted by memories, not a figure of a deceased person. Have been for years and still am.
