Next, government will tell you, you have to buy this or that, or be$ fined.

I wonder if this really goes into the toilet “financially” will the Democrats, Obama and the White House own up to this screw-up, or just blame Bush again, or Mitt Romney as it was his Massachusetts Governor-Ship health care bill that was used (mostly copied) by the 2009 Democratic controlled congress.

The rest of the PORK in that bill was pure, liberal democratic, Obama radical W.H. socialistic crap.

    Added 7-3-2012
Look at these people carrying signs Soda Head has posted here, they say "Protect the Law', yet these same people and liberals will be out in numbers protesting border patrol states that are trying to uphold the law and protest their borders and send illegal’s back to where they came from until they come into the country legally. But we know what that’s all about, right?
All votes get counted if they are Democratic votes.

I almost fell off my chair laughing when I heard that the mandate was struck down through the Commerce Clause, but OK as a tax.

So, just as a point of information here. If the poor cannot afford to buy insurance, then who's going to pay their penalty tax for not having insurance? When small businesses start letting people go because they don't want to pay for insurance, nor will they pay the fine, how high will unemployment go? If the small business pays a fine for not buying insurance (because the fine is cheaper), will the employee also be taxed for not having insurance? How will low to middle class folks pay for anything when employers find a dodge around benefits by employing people only part time?

The most important question to me is whether or not Obama knows he just got shot in the a$$.

Good question, but Obama's a pawn, and his ass is expendable to the elites. This was never about health care; it was always about utterly undoing the US economy.

I think I'd wedge in gaining control. That's what the Soros, Khalidi, Ayres money is all about. They pull Obamass's strings to maniuplate markets, crash the economy so that Soros can make more money (he offered the same deal to both Bush presidents and they kicked him out), control and movement toward Communism (which I think is the lie they're telling a Communism besotted Obamass) but which is Islam, and destruction of the Republic. Until the selfish, gimme, gimme, gimme Americans wake up they'll keep putting this trash in the White House.

This is going to cost $2 trillion over ten years, on top of the already outta control federal budget. This, when we were told originally that it would cost around $100 billion for the first ten years. In other words, they clearly lied, and still you support them. It will bankrupt the nation, and this is will be the nail in the coffin for the medical insurance industry, too, so, way to go, folks!

Good job at screwing the country over, you deliberately-blind ignoramusses.

And those old people in the picture? Well, they already lost well over $500 billion of their Medicare well over a year ago, when they took it from them, and gave it over to Medicaid, to make Obamacare look more feasible. So I hope they don't expect too much of their healthcare to be protected, because it's already gone. They had better coverage without Obamacare.

See the picture, folks? Those signs are professional, mass-produced, purchased and handed out for that purpose. Go to a TEA Party and count the mass-produced signs; there might be a few, but most are hand-made, because we really are grass-roots. Who's more committed to their cause?

Makes me wonder how much those people were paid to be there.

Are you talking about the Iraq war? Cause that sounds pretty similar. The Bush administration clearly lied, yet Conservatives still supported them. Do I sense a bit of hypocrisy here?

Nope...because according to the information we, and Great Britain--who gave us the nformation--had at the time of the invasion, the operation was justified.
And let's not forget that Bush took eight years, two wars and one ill-advised TARP to spend as much as Obama did, in less than three years.
    Besides, wars end...Socialism is forever.

So they approved a poorly written piece of crap! Obama raises taxes while lying about it the whole time and took over another 7% of the economy! This decision was made only after Obama admitted it was a tax period! So in a recession Obama thinks raising taxes is good for America, when in fact he earlier stated raising taxes in a bad economy was not the way to go! The man is a lying bastard!

There was never a doubt in my mind that the SC would NOT overturn this boondoggle. They are owned by the same people that bought and paid for the Congress and Senate thieves that passed this unconstitutional mess in the first place.

It's about time we quit holding elections and started target practice, this country and it's elected officials and the crooks they appoint are out of control.

Tragic, the problem with health care in the first Place was because the federal government got involved and now this crap to force out private health care leaving only the government option. You are fined for not having health care because you cannot already afford it, great way to make the poor even more poor. if you think health care is expensive now wait till it's free. I'll never understand it, people have fought and died for thousands of years to keep government rule out of our lives and when we finally achieved that goal we turned right around and decided to let tyranny and oppression back into it.
  • Hebsi john doe 2012/06/29 04:17:52
    Hebsi
Yes, it's absolutely tragic when millions of Americans gain access to health insurance.

The problem with health care in the first place was that it was a for-profit system in which millions of sick and desperate Americans were denied access to health insurance and subsequently died because they couldn't afford treatment. This bill prevents health insurance companies from doing that. Is that what you call tyranny and oppression? If anything, the federal government has defeated the tyranny and oppression health insurance companies had over patients.
  • john doe Hebsi 2012/06/29 09:18:29
    john doe
So let's give the government control of this for profit organization, great idea. I missed the part where forcing poor people to buy something they can't afford then make them pay a fine when they cannot, brilliant. Government health care has not worked anywhere else so let's do the same here. There are other options for cheaper health care. Eventually it will become too expensive for government to control which will bring about the "death panels" where cripples, retards, elderly, and infants are not covered. Sounds like hitler health care.

Today’s ruling is important because it is the first time in history that the federal government has required citizens enter into contract with private corporations to buy a product or service. It also represents one of the most egregious violations of the Constitution in American history.

“The insurance mandate clearly exceeds the federal government’s powers under the interstate commerce clause found in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution,” writes Ron Paul.

Corruption at the FDA Over Dental Amalgam

Issue: Amalgam Dental Fillings = Mercury Poisoning.
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) website recently removed a warning that it previously reluctantly posted about the toxicity of amalgam dental fillings. Why? FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg holds stock in the company (Henry Schein) that makes mercury fillings and she thinks it’s okay that Americans continue to be poisoned by this proved neurotoxin. The silver fillings placed in people’s mouths are comprised of 50% mercury.
