I can't remember sending requests, except to an old friend from my former account. Most of the people on my list requested me, and I have no idea who they are.

dont really see the point. if they wanna add me by all means, if not i dont care either. why write a message, i dont think it would reflect on their decision.

Usually when I request someone friendship I add a little comment on what it was they posted that held my interest. On the other hand any friend request that includes any reference to the leaderboard gets ignored

I've only sent one request and that was in response to a question requesting people friend that person. I sent the message via the question and not via SH mail. Of all the people that have requested me, I think only 2 have sent a message along with it. Then another 2 have said thanks after adding them.
