Some I recognize from questions and answers we have shared. Those are easy of chose. If I don't recognize them I usually check the profile before responding.

even though i did view their profile, but there is less information to know - so no points - and it doesn't matter to accept someone who doesn't fill their profile completely (I'm one of them >.> )

i just want to meet someone who always think differently - got points , funny n humor!!

I usually accept everyone without question. I very rarely ever ask for people to add me, because lots of people end up coming to me. I just add them. It can't hurt anyway. If they step out of line, I can always unfriend them. :)

I read profiles, and often give people the benefit of the doubt. But I will delete those who think that sharing other people's questions by the ton is a fun thing to do.

I always have a quick look at their profile.

However I reserve the right to 'unfriend' people if I don't like their questions... too inane, wilfully controversial, offensive, etc.

I check profiles, comments, how long a member of SH, religion, questions. I may friend someone from the left, have done so actually, but before I friend them I tell them where I stand and give them the opportunity to retract the invitation. LOL. Even my friends get mad at me - polar opposites can get really mad at me.

I will always accept a friendship request, never looking at the persons profile. I have only blocked people who have blocked me and continue to respond to my comments, cowards or just intellectually inferior.

Yes I am guilty of this. I look at the persons picture and just press accept. I hardly do background checks on people profiles I don't think it is all that serious.
