I was thinking of all the wildfires ravaging the land, including squirrels and wildlife who could not escape it. My sister's home was destroyed to ash and rubble in the Waldo Canyon fire, in Colorado Springs, CO. The evacuated on Tuesday with their clothes on their back, children and pets. Thank the Lord, they are safe.. I now, value life and all of His creations, more than ever....
Out in the forest, yes ... inside your house or barn, no. The ones on our campus are spoiled rotten ... pudgy and funny. (I'm one of the spoilers with nutty treats for them.)
I am not and animal nut so my guess is no but in this strange world they may have more rights than I do. I know dogs have a bigger right to noise than humans. If a human makes noise they are usually cited without fanfare, if a dog barks they let the owner off the hook all the time. So a double standard, and so a squirrel having rights very possible.
More rights than humans. They can cross a busy highway and take the chance of getting run over without their squirrel friends having to pay for medical treatment or a funeral.
Yes, the right to private life!
;)
Be on the lookout for this criminal!
Meet my friend Nuts the squirrel, Sister
(URGH .. they are vermin .. )
