Some guys prefer a new, shiny car that has never been touched by anyone other than themselves, some prefer a car proven to be reliable, and some realize that women aren't actually cars and thus can't be reliably compared to one.
Setting aside my intentions not to get married, if I WERE planning to I'd want it to be with a guy who I knew I was compatible with in every department, and who would be comfortable with some of my less vanilla fantasies. I'd also prefer if we each had previous experience. That way we'd be less likely to think we were missing out and would have more to bring to the table.
Wanting someone who has no experiences outside of yourself seems far too controlling and not very satisfying. Which is more of an ego boost "She's been around town and knows I'm the best to be found" or "She has no idea whether I am actually good in bed and just sticks with me because she doesn't know any better, and she just assumes all women feel that frustration and dissatisfaction".
Of course if the person I lose my virginity too happens to be "the one" I'm not going to get rid of a good thing simply because I might find something better(though I might suggest a brief hiatus in order for each of us to go and gain new experiences to make sure each f us was happy and not simply settling).

A lot of men do, but I don't think all of them.

Since there are not to many virgins out there anymore, men are not as picky about that as they used to be.

It was also FAR easier to be a virgin on your wedding night when the standard age of marriage was 14 years old...

Actually, I from the guys I have spoken with, that is pretty much the consensus.

I've been with exactly one man who was a virgin; and it was terrible.
