    But the more centrist-leftists maybe not.

    The main ones are unbelievable hypocrites.

    It's Freedom of Religion (except wrt circumcision, kosher meat)
    It's Freedom of Speech (except when it "offends" someone)
    It's Freedom of Sexual Expression (only for gays, though)
    It's Peace in the world (if we disarm, we'll have peace all right. We'll all Rest In Peace)
    Give Illegals Amnesty (just don't let them live in MY neighborhood)

    And on and on.
