Absolutely! We learn from the negative experiences in our lives a lot more than the positive things. If everything went along with no problems, what could we possibly learn from that? Nobody likes heartache and problems, but when you get through them, it's like adding another brick to a wall your building. It makes you stronger and wiser.
I don't believe it . It makes us less trusting & eventually that prevents us to take risks , we become more cautious & this looks like we are less in trouble because we are stronger . But no , heartbreaks make us injured & damaged .
in the scheme of things, YES, they make you stronger. But when it happens it sucks, its' painful and seems like the bitter end. Johnny Cash and a bottle always helps
I wouldn't know. Nature did not design every human being to thrive. We don't all get born into the Swiss section of town. I think the heart-broken are nicer than the rest of us, but they would have been better off if they were worse.
Look at the eased Elizabeth Taylor still in love with Richard Burton she married him twice.she never stop loving Richard Burton in most of in her life.It was one of the great love affairs of the last century – a turbulent 20-year odyssey of lust, love and marriage (twice), all in the spotlight of Hollywood fame. Now, Elizabeth Taylor is offering glimpses into her passionate, often painful life with Richard Burton through his love letters to her.The one letter that Taylor declines to share publicly – though she read it aloud to a Vanity Fair reporter – was the last one he wrote to her, just days before his unexpected death from a brain hemorrhage. In that letter, which Taylor keeps in a bedside drawer, he says he was happiest in life when he was with her, and wonders if they might have another shot together. does she seem to be stronger after her 9th divorced? she suffer inside and outside she's fine as dandy...her health got the best of her and till she burial next to her loved parents.

Indeed it has. My previous relationship ended badly. Which in turn led to the next relationship whose heart was broken just as badly as mine was. We found each other. Today she is the mother of my children.
