Do "Grey" Eyes Exist?

The reason I ask is because when looking at an article on eye color, it had stated grey eyes can sometimes appear blue, which to me doesn't even make sense because every person I've ever seen with blue eyes (including myself) has had them appear to be grey at least sometimes... Does it more or so matter depending on which they appear to be more? Honestly, if it's true grey can appear to be blue, than they should probably be considered blue because it works vice versa as well. Same with green.

The director of music at my high school has grey eyes, they've never appeared blue at all to my knowledge. I just know that they're really very nice.

I have grey eyes. the blue from the light of the sky makes them look blue. but if u take a white LED light and shine on them, they are clearly grey. they also sometimes look green. or yelloworange

I have bluey-greeny-grey eyes that change colours depending on the light, I think it has to do with pupil size - I have this eyeliner that's supposed to make blue eyes pop and look even bluer but they made mine look really grey. I actually think grey is how I like my eyes best. :)

I hope they exist because mine are grey. The only time they appear blue is when I'm ill. And I don't think they look blue, but others have said they do. Perhaps it's simply the tired look that they're seeing, not a colour change.

I think hazel eyes (so I've been told) are the ones that are quite variable, and can appear anything from brown to green to blue..

Well, then, they're definitely not hazel. I think there's a changeability to most eye colours.

Exactly, the only thing that you could possibly label them as is blue since they change hues so much

I know what you mean, mine are generally medium. I'm the only one that can rarely ever see my own eye color since their true color is out in the sunlight

I know some people have eyes that change colours depending on what they wear and their mood. You could be one of those people, too.

They're never really grey, but they can look kinda darkish grey in the shadows and when you get closer to them they're more of a marble blue. I think they're always blue, just a little more greyish at times. Like what you said, because of my mood or at different times of the day

Labelling eye colour as brown, blue green is almost as silly as labelling skin colour black, white, yellow and red. My ex's eyes were a very greyish blue whereas a know people with eyes that are very bright blue and always look a definite blue. My eyes are a greenish blue with an amber circle around the pupil. I don't know what to call them. Some days they look greener than others-probably depending on what I am wearing.

My eyes range from grayish blue to very medium blue to even bright light blue. It all depends on the way the light hits them

People's eyes are obviously not really a solid colour. Remember Elizabeth Taylor's eyes were apparently violet! I have seen some eyes that are almost a turquoise blue.
