Any food product (even bottled water) after a certain date it is no longer consumable. Even Twinkies for that matter too. After 'X' amount of days, months, years... the product can go bad and actually get you sick. Some stuff can last years, but since it is a carbonated drink, the gas can still go flat

Actually, I have no idea. I just wanted to ask if you were sure it wasn't the cheese? Or the fact that you combined cheese with an energy drink. It might of had an affect.

Was it aged cheese? That often has MAO inhibitiors which could 'clash' with components of the drink, did you "Trip"?

Don't mix different brands for the same reason.

Look on the bottom of the can, and you will probably find the expiration date. Usually they have a shelf life of about a year. I hope ya don't get sick.

I'm not sure I'd want to ingest anything that was 7 years old, except wine.

Normally all energy drinks consumed & taken back by manufacturers if not sold.

I think they do and if they don't they should. I think the drink discharges energy as it sits on the shelf. I have purchased some older Red Bull before and it only tasted like crap. There was no power left in the can. It was completely dead.

Well, don't eat cheese when you do that. I think it adds on extra nasty to the flavor.
