I don't care. I believe my parents raised me with a good understanding of the world and how to treat other people, but ultimately, since everyone was raised by different parents, not everyone will say one person's childhood is the best example of good parents. People have opinions. My opinion is that my parents did the best they could.

I believe so,I faced some hardships that made that much wiser but I was also allowed freedoom.I call it a balance between freedom and control of her.

That REALLY depends on what you mean by "right". I know right from wrong, though I'm not sure how much they actually had to do with that. I think most folks are born with a sense of it then CHOOSE how to act. I have a fairly decent work ethic. Once I started mowing lawns and doing odd jobs at 13-14 I had to start buying my own clothes and school supplies. We always ate well, but when I was 15-16 they decided the milk was for pops only. We had a swimming pool and a boat and they both drove Cadillacs, they had health insurance, and made good livings, but there was no money for the kids to go to the doctor or dentist. From 5th grade to 10th grade the only days I didn't get beat were when pops went to Vietnam to rebuild helicopters. Mom stood by and watched.

So I don't know that they raised me "right", but I like I to think I turned out alright just the same.

My answer could vary depending on when you asked me. Before I was 15 you could say yes, except the times when my dad came home drunk and tried to beat anything in sight. After 15 I'd have to say no, my dad left and hasn't spoken to me since and my mom can't go one day without yelling at me for some stupid sh*t. I guess it really depends. My life could be worse though so I'm not complaining.
