Yes, I said the Pledge of Allegience every morning, and I am proud of Old Glory.
No, I didn't. But before you call out the lynch mob, be aware my school did not do it.
I didn't do it, because I chose not to. I don't even know the words to the Pledge of Allegience.
I am not American, but I do respect the flag of my country.
I have another thought/opinion which I know I am free to voice in a Poll by Robin.
You!

I did at first, this was 1st or 2nd grade, but I stopped doing it. I love our country, but I do not like being forced to express it.

We still begin each school day at our middle school with all of the students in the gym reciting the Pledge of Allegience.

Have to admit that was back in the day when most real Americans understood what our freedom and rights entailed and were willing to defend them against communists, Muslims, and racists....today these three evils are about to usurp the entire country, thanks to the 60 plus mentally challenged who voted for our despot president.

When I was in grade school my friends mom was arrested by the FBI because she was mistaken for a woman who was a nazi war criminal . She was deported and the charges were dropped 2 years later , but the US state department would not let her return to her family here. My friend went to germany every summer to see his mom and she finally became a Canadian citizen but that was after her husband divorced her . Her life was ruined and I saw this as a kid so when I was in school me and my friend would never pledge the allegiance to the flag , we didnt even stand up .We caught a lot of grief for our actions but we stood up against an insane system that would not correct a mistake it made .

EVERY morning!! The way it should be. Of course, there are some that suggest the Pledge should be "altered" so as not to offend our non-believing members of society (loooong pause) let's hope our country wants to instill the same pride in America that it once did.
