    Yes, it was:
Mr. Petoski. First day of school, when he was going over the rules:
"If your out of uniform (red, white, blue and khaki) I'm going to have to report you. You think I enjoy looking like I work at Target? I can't even walk in there after school or people are going to ask me where the bathroom is."
But not only did he level with his students, but he did teach. Unlike a bunch coaches. Especially this one: "Okay children, open you books and get to work." "___? seriously that's your last name?"

One was a student teacher (she was WAY cute). More recently though, favorites have included Debra LaFave and a few others that are hot and obviously have raging hormones that are waiting to take a walk on the wild side.

hehe, in seventh grade, there was a young, good-looking math teacher. He bent over to pick something up and I saw a classmate of mine checking his ass out. So hilarious!

I had several, but Sister Mary Bruno, my sixth and eighth grade teacher, was just brilliant. She was tough as nails and ruled the classroom like no other, but never laid a hand on a kid. She drilled math into us until I could convert fractions into decimals and percents in my sleep. She taught us Catholic catechism without denigrating any other religions.

Most of all, she showed us the value of hard work. When we were at recess, she would be working in her vegetable garden, digging, weeding and watering. Or she'd be shoveling snow around the school or convent. The woman was an unstoppable force.

Sadly, she contracted Alzheimer's disease and passed away a few years ago. I think of her often, especially when I'm teaching a math lesson that I learned from her. I hope I can be such a powerful force in the lives of my students.

Miss Rose and Miss Price, Miss Rose made the best fudge, whatever she needed I was Johnny on the spot, I kept the erasers and black boards clean. Miss Price, I just loved her, she got married when I was in the 4th grade, my mom and dad was looking for me, and I had walked to her wedding reception which wasn't far from our house. I had a wonderul time eating cake and drinking punch, until my parents showed up and spoiled my fun. Dunbar High School faculty This is a group picture of my teachers, Miss Rose is the tall light skin lady on the back row, and Miss Price is sitting at the back of the table next to the man going to the right. The teacher at the end is Miss Hodge, I didn't like her too well, and she made me repeat the 4th grade, I got a spanking from my father for failing, and after that, I never flunked anything else. So I guess I owe Miss Hodge a vote of thanks too.

Mrs. Emberson, my 9-10th grade English teacher. Though she was a bit looney and EVERYONE(besides me) accused her of having alcohol at school, every year; She was so sweet and never got me in trouble for 'dress code' and always helped me with my Junior English and was a big fan of my art work. :) She even had a nick name for me. She's retired.(i can't really pick favorites, I love all my teachers. lol)

Mrs. Galbreath whom I was fortunate to have in 5th grade and then again in 6th grade when she moved up. I loved her. She lived around the corner and would sit on her porch in the summer and talk to kids who rode by on their bikes. One day my best friend and I stopped to talk to her and she invited us in while she was baking pies. She gave us a piece of hot apple pie with ice cream. I thought she was the most wonderful teacher ever and she was a big reason I decided to become a teacher myself.
