When I first got into this screenwriting gig my mind filled with stars; imaging myself at the academy awards show hearing," And the OSCAR for best screenplay is Robert Austin Strobel." the crowd would applaud and I would step up to the podium and make a thank you speech. Yeah, I had those kinds of dreams still do.

Of course, who hasn't? I think all those people who voted "No" either never really lived, or they are lying and don't want to be embarrassed by acknowledging they wanted to be someone else, or have someone else's life.

Back in the sixties I was a folk and western singer and guitar player. but I never got farther than playing in clubs and recording one 45 rpm single that went nowhere.
