First thing, I take my shoes off when I enter my abode. After walking the dirty streets, I would never go to sleep with my shoes on,especially on my bed. On airplanes, I always took my shoes off and put on those thick socks that the airline gave passengers.

I never wear either my shoes or socks to bed, On a few occasions, especially if I am ill with a cold or sinus infection, I have fallen asleep lying on the couch watching television with my shoes on.

Sure have, many many times, Had to sleep with your shoes on because you can't waste time trying to find your shoes when the action is gearing up.

I've been known to fall asleep sitting in front of my PC....I chalk that up to having a very, very comfortable chair that reclines perfectly for a quick (and sometimes not so quick) nap

Quite a number of times ..
Believe me .. there's very long days .. where you just are exhausted,
and when you sit down .. you basically are falling asleep right there in the chair ..
shoes on, uniforms on .. just ready to get some sleep ..
(and even after the Service .. when I was in my next stage of life .. )
with children to raise, bills to pay and things to do around the home,
you get very exhausted very quickly indeed ..
children are asleep .. and you are still up doing everything ..
sit down in the chair .. and right away .. sleep!
