I tried in like Kindergarten. I ended up breaking my arm. xD That's when I learned that I cannot fly. No matter how many balloons you use.

Actually with a Superman Cape (I was 5 year old) later with an umbrella. The umbrella was actually awesome until it broke. I did it the right way after jump school. AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!

Never had any interest in flying, was more interested in under water travel than flight. To much 20,000 Leagues under the sea as a child I guess.

At one point I tried to make some wings out of paper and then tape them to the sleaves of my shirt and then flap my arms in order to fly and of course I found that it did not work.

I loved Peter Pan when I was little, so I thought that if I believed I could fly, I could. To this day, I am not sure. Maybe I didn't hope enough. :)

I studied early pioneer aviation and built a rough copy of an early homebuilt design using scrap lumber and wagon wheels. It never lifted off or anything near, but I was able to sit in it and roll downhill as if rolling down a runway. I was eight. Other kids were building carts and soapbox racers which even with no power were much faster.

During these early years when I was still small I looked up various species of large bird to see if there was one large enough to train with the thought of riding it like a pony. I like to think I at least got as close as possible to finding what may have worked.

I jumped off a chair and fractured my arm when I was five or six. I never tried to fly again.

I didn't build a flying machine, but it was the closest thing listed to flying on an airplane. I have attempted, and succeeded at flying in an airplane during my childhood, so I've flown yes.
