No I didn't go to my prom, but when I was 28 years of age, a professional football player was asked to chaperone a prom, and he asked me to go with him as his date, I was very flattered, this was in the 60's.
Yeah and it was okay. They played pretty crappy music but I also roasted marshmallows over a candle and they had strawberries and a chocolate fountain so it evens out.
