The idea that man can travel to the moon on a "space ship" is simply preposterous.

travel moon space ship simply preposterous

We've always lived on the moon. The idea that people have actually traveled here from Earth is just too stupid to believe.

Of course it did. The fact that anyone would even ask this is sad and ridiculous.

The Moon Landing Hoax conspiracy theory is laughable. I don't know why anyone takes it seriously.

But it's a bit fishy, considering that the f***ing flag was waving, even though there is no wind on the moon.

There is no air on the moon. Hence no friction. If you move something on the moon, it will continue to move long after it would have stopped on Earth.

Thanks for informing, although I feel like a complete moron now. However it's good to know at least that my Science teacher was wrong after all...

Your SCIENCE teacher told you that the moon landing was a hoax?!

Well kind of, but not exactly. She told us that other people believe it was a hoax due to the flag waving and there being no air or wind on the Moon. But, according to your earlier statement, she was wrong.

Gotcha. Yeah, pretty sad that your teacher felt the need to lend any credibility to that silly myth.

As if the education system wasn't bad enough. We already have books that are ten, maybe more so, years old.

For those who think it was a conspiracy theory, there are reflectors on the moon that you can bounce a laser off of and detect the photons that bounced back. If no one ever visited the moon, you couldn't do that.

The lunar landings are a conspiracy theorist Mecca, more utter drivel has been written about the faked moon landings than just about any other crackpot theory.

If you ignore the hundreds of thousands who were directly responsible for the landings and would need to lie if a cover up was true, not to mention the 24 astronauts and 100's of mission control and telemetry technicians, and all the TV broadcast staff and countless others who would need to be in on it.

Then there is the hours of recorded tapes monitoring the radio transmissions directly coming from the surface of the moon stored in the Soviet Union's archives from 1969. Also the modern photographic evidence showing the landing site, and the absolute clincher, the laser reflectors put on the surface moon during the landings which are used even to this day.

My father was on the design team for the lunar lander's guidance system. If you saw the blood, sweat, tears and money invested in that small part of the program, you'd know that it was for real.

Remember that computers at the time (1969) were primitive, and gynormous! What's in your Smart Phone today would fill a room in 1969! It's a wonder it succeeded. I take that back, it was not a miracle, but a fact of the cooperation and collective wisdom of thousands of scientists and engineers, and the American public that funded them!

there's a reflector on the moon that neil armstrong and buzz aldrin put there. observatories all around the world bounce lasers off it everyday. they did it on the big bang theory. that thing didn't get there by itself.
