Ahh, the power of slick advertising, I remember when this crap first came out, it was touted in commercials as a Savior for Men, taking an average Joe from, ordinary to Irresistible to Women, all with the light application of Axe Body Spray, basically saying that if any schmuck sprayed this on, he'd be able to land Paris Hilton, lol

The smell is atrocious! My 43 y/o son used it when he visited last. And who in their right mind would want to score Paris Hilton? PS I use Jade East, which is hard to find but I have a source.

However I still like Axe, but not because the commercial say it's so good(even though the commercials are funny) of course a scent isn't going to make you instantly attractive. I just love how Axe smells. Scent can help a woman become attracted to you but that wont be the only reason she becomes attracted.
We do subconsciously "smell" our potential mates, and things like perfumes or cologne can help trigger a reaction. However a scent that attracts one person wont attract everyone. People really are attracted to different scents.

They didn't fool any of us. With that said, I do buy their products because my boys like the way it smells. They are smart enough to know the commercials are funny not real. Doesn't mean they don't like the product

I got the samples for free though. They both smell good, but then I don't really think Axe smells bad unless the high school boys go nuts with it.
