I believe in your question that you are referring to Property Taxes? If so, you are correct. Property taxes is the rent paid by alleged Property owners to the County on their home and the property it sits upon. If my allegation is correct, that you are referring to Property Taxes, then you are absolutely correct.Even Real Estate Agents don't or won't tell prospective home buyers about a Property Patent partly because they themselves might not know about it themselves. Before making the purchase of a home, submit an application for the Property Patent which goes to the Department of the Interrior and is actually granted and signed by the President for the property where the home is situated with the appropriate fees.
When you are Granted the Property Patent for the property, then you actually do Own The Home and the Property it sit's upon, and no court of law has ever taken a persons property away from them if they own the exclusive patent to their Property through a Property Patent for any reason.

My rent is due on the 5th of every month. I own my house but I rent the land that it's on. My rent is $331.50. I gave the lady $50 for now but can't give her the rest till the end of July. By then I can pay her for August too and be caught up. She can't evict me can she for this? She had an attitude but it's not like I haven't been paying her. WTF

You could find out if she is the actual owner of the property of the house you are living in and paying rent on is actually hers. If she does not own the land the house sits on by having what is called a Land or Property Patent on the property, then you need to find out who the actual owner of the land is. If nobody has submitted a claimed ownership of the land by possessing a Land or Property Patent, you yourself could apply for the Land or Property Patent with the applicable fees to the Department of the Interrior and if you are Granted a Land or Property Patent to the property the home that sits on your Property can actually become yours as the exclusive Property Owner and own the home as well.

But do you own the Property Free and Clear, highly doubtful, unless you have submitted the properly filled out paperwork (with the appropriate fee) for a Land or Property Patent to the Department of the Interrior for the property your Free and Clear home sits on.

We're fortunate to finally be in a position in life where we can pay all our bills on time. Doesn't leave much for fun things, but we'll always have a roof over our head.
