I don't really have an accent that I've noticed. I'm originally from Indiana, but taught myself not to pick up on the southernish hoosierisms that I heard so much there. It just wasn't me. And though I'm female, it's not one of those high-pitched squeaky voices where everything sounds like a question. It's a little bit of a lower voice, which I much prefer.

Sometimes when I answer the phone people think I'm one of my kids...including my own parents. I've been told it's sexy, but some men will say anything. When I've heard recordings of it I hate it.

Some people say I sound very youthful, and jouyous in tone. Some people say I sound like a mixture of New Jersey and Brooklyn.Hey some people say I even sound animated .My husband says he loves my voice and never tires from hearing me talk.He calls me a few times a day just to hear my voice , so I guess he does love it after 25 years.
